Before getting her MA in counseling, Aspen spent several years in the workforce as a human resources generalist. Through her time in HR, Aspen began to understand how personal and career issues intersect and influence one another. Year after year, Aspen realized that she enjoyed the person-to-person work in HR much more than the systems, reporting, and compliance. Though she retains and is grateful for these skills, Aspen made the transition to therapy and hasn’t looked back.
